My Reviews:

Again, I don’t know what made me bought this but since the Revlon Absolute C Cleansing Oil is a pretty good product thus I thought since they belong on the same range might as well try their Moisture Lotion.

Once I got home, I immediately wash my face and apply this lotion thinking ~oh~ my face gonna be so hydrated~ and it will help improve my DULL complexion la la la~

So after applying and gently massaging for 2-3minutes, I went on doing some paper works until my face started to feel itchy!! I though ~oh might go away for a few minutes…but NYOOOOOO!!My face becomes EXTREMELY ITCHY and slightly turning RED so I immediately wash my face and pat dry then the itch stops and redness tame down.

I was thinking, oh maybe I was doing some dusty paper works thus might be the reason of THE allergic reaction. The next morning, wash my face and apply the revlon lotion and while waiting to be absorbed, I started to feel mild stingy and later becomes ITCHY thus without any hesitation I wash my face and the itchiness was gone.

Above experience ONLY explains that my skin hates Revlon Absolute C Radiance Moisture Lotion.

So for those of you with a sensitive skin I suggest skipping this as you don’t want to risk or waste your money for a product that doesn’t suits your skin.

I’ve read a lot of good reviews with regards to this brand thus I decided to try out their Gentle Daily Cleanser thinking it might be a good product to me as well.  

 

Upon opening the tube and squeezing a dime size I notice that the consistency is quite soothing and creamy but it DOES NOT foam up. Palmer’s claim that this cleanser was able to remove oil and impurities, totally agree to this as it really does what it claims.  

Another point Palmer’s promise is that it can brighten/hydrate and soften your skin without over drying. With regards to this, I totally DISAGREE, it doesn’t brighten or soften my skin at all. What I experience after wash is that my face is cleanse pretty well but did NOT over dry my skin. I would consider this an OK cleanser, didn’t give me any bad reaction but didn’t provide any “WOW” factors as well.  

Even though it’s an OK cleanser but I would NOT buy again as the scent is awful! I dunno for others but I hate the smell. The smell is similar to a rotten flower with added chemicals but the ingredients stated that it contains lily extract. To me I think it’s a rotten lily extract.  

For those with sensitive smell or not a fan of heavy scent, I would suggest to SKIP this as the scent is really strong and NOT nice.  

Would you Recommend: NO! Scent is too strong and there’s no wow factor at all

Buy again? No.

My Reviews:

Basically it’s a very light foundation that gives you a natural soft powdery finish. It’s a MINERAL makeup so its best for those with problem skin (like mine) as it won’t irritate your skin. It does provide great coverage for uneven skintone but not capable to conceal acnes/scars, concealer is still needed. Overall a great foundation that provides natural finish and at the same time won’t do harm on your skin.

Texture: Soft mousse cream

Application: A little goes a long way

I would recommend this to those who prefer Natural /Neutral look as it really gives you a nice powdery finish. It’s very applicable to students or individuals who work on a daytime shift because the coverage is very light and breathable.  People with extremely dry skin might not be that suitable because it might create dry patches due to its consistency. Applying moisturizer before this foundation is recommended in order provide a more matte finish.

Would you buy this again? YES!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE THIS! All the points that the product claims really WORKS!

If above statement is not enough then let me elaborate on why I super love this primer:

• It makes your skin SILKY SMOOTH INSTANTLY!
• Able to fill-in open pores, fine lines and wrinkles (basically it even out the layer of your skin)
• Makes your skin brighter and more radiant
• Help keeps the makeup longer (mine would last the entire DAY, no re-touch needed!)
• Able to conceal red patches and green/purple vein
• Just one small dap is enough to prime the entire face
• Does NOT irritate my skin (I have acne prone skin)
• Price is quite reasonable as it would last quite a period of time
• Available in ALL Watson’s branches

Try it to believe it! I really notice the huge difference if I didn’t use this primer Versus using this primer. Even though I stayed in an air-conditioned place for straight 9 hours but my makeup still tends to melt and wear-off. But once I used the this primer I don’t have to worry on anything even though I’ll be assigned in the field or commute all day as my makeup would still be intact and in perfect condition!

I would really recommend this to those people who are lazy (like me) who are not into “retouching” or to those who often need to be on the field or to anyone who just wants to have  a flawless look.

(Caution: This product contains SILICONE so for those who have extremely sensitive skin please TEST it first before using it. I’ve read plenty of bad reactions from some users due to some of the ingredients used in this product.)

My Reviews:

I’m not really a fan of “cleansing oil” after my BAD experience on Etude House’s cleansingoil.

But I don’t now what gotten to me that made me bought the Revlon’s Absolute C Cleansing Oil since I’m already satisfied with Maybelline’s makeup remover.  But oh well, since I bought it already might as well use it.

What I like about the product:

• Even though it’s a “cleansing oil” but its NOT greasy or sticky, the feeling is quite refreshing
• Effectively removes ALL types of makeup without irritating skin
• Able to remove eye makeups thoroughly and DOES NOT STING my eyes
• Nice mild citric scent

What I don’t like about the product:

• Expensive
• I think this is only available in Asian countries

Overall Verdict:

I don’t really know how to rate this, though I love how the product works but I would still consider Maybelline makeup remover as my staple just because…..Well, I’m so used to Maybelline’s and its much affordable compared to Revlon’s cleansing oil but it’s a good buy though. I would recommend this to those who are still in search of a nice cleansing oil as it really remove makeups thoroughly.

But guess I was WRONG! This essence really is a savior to me as it improve my skin overall’s condition. My skin becomes more radiant than ever plus it is makes my skin feel so smooth and soft.

Eversince the launch of Asian Secrets: Lulur Whitening Scrub, I’ve noticed quite a number of brands emerging into the local market which also categorize themselves as a “Mandi Lulur” product.

What is Mandi Lulur?

Mandi Lulur means “lulur bath” is originated from island of Java and in Javanese word “lulur” means “Coating the Skin”. Traditionally, this is the most luxurious pre-wedding ritual for the brides-to-be, to achieve fair, smooth, soft and radiant skin.

There are plenty of“Mandi Lulur” brands available in Watson’s and I am so eager to try them all!!!! But I can’t buy all at once so I just randomly pick up a brand to try out. The brand I selected is “Purbasari-Lulur Mandi”.

What is “Purbasari-Lulur Mandi”?

-          Shiny white paste-like mixture made from rice, turmeric and fragrances

-          Is a javanese specialty procedure that is used to exfoliate and soften the skin.

-          Enriched with Squalene Oil, Olive oil and Vit E as extra moisturizer

-          Stimulate body to throw out dead cells and replace it with new ones, stimulate blood circulation under the skin, smooth the skin, and at the same time scents it

-     Suitable for all skin types and for everday use

What I Like about it:

1)      Suitable for all skin types and even though it is a scrub it is ideal to use daily

2)      Skin will feel baby smooth and soft upon usage

3)      It gently exfoliates but manage to maintain skin moisture

4)      Able to calm the skin and skin felt clean and refresh after wash

5)      Price is quite acceptable and is available in all Watson’s

What I Hate about it:

1)      Contains Paraben

2)      Improvement on the packaging (the tub is okay, but they could have at least improve on the label to look more attractive)

3)      DID NOT notice any whitening effect as of the moment (used half tub)

Overall Review:

I superb LOVE Purbasari-Lulur Mandi scrub and I have to say it is way BETTER than Asian Secrets: Lulur Whitening Scrub.  The reason why I prefer Purbasari over Asian Secrets is because the consistency or texture of Purbasari is much softer and smoother. Another thing inwhich Purbasari outstands Asian Secrets is the efficacy of the product itself. I immediately notice a much softer and brighter skin on my first wash and skin felt extremely REFRESHED.  Lastly, Purbasari was able to calm and revived my skin complexion. I often developed rashes and red bumps/patches due to sensitivity and sun exposure. It would normally go away for 3-4days but Purbasari was able to heal those rashes overnight! Dang! Amazing right! =)

Now I know why “Mandi-Lulur” is considered a luxurious pre-wedding ritual, because it really heals and improve your skin condition.

Would you Recommend? YES!!

Buy again? YES YES YES!!!

I just hope the main distributor can bring more of “Purbasari” products into the country.

My Verdict:

I’ve tried 3653624232 types of cleanser ranging from local to imported, be it low-end or high-end, but I can’t seem to find a  facial cleanser that I really love and would love to spend the rest of my life with  (-_-)”  But I think I can pretty much predict that SKII’s Facial Treatment Cleanser will be THE ONE! Hehe~

The name says it all, its called a Facial “TREATMENT” Cleanser unlike other brands who merely state their products as Facial Wash/Facial Cream/Foam Cleanser etc. But with SK-II, I truly believe and testify that it really is a “TREATMENT “facial cleanser.

At first, I’m quite hesitant to try SK-II as it was pretty expensive and I have to order online because it is NOT available in my country plus I have to pay for the shipment and custom taxes and claim it at the extreme far post office and wait on the forever long queue. But despite all the hindrance, I still decided to try it out and glad I did because am so satisfied with the results!

The moment I used this cleanser I immediately notice the improvement of skin condition. My skin felt very much refreshing and the very much redness of my screaming acnes/pimples tends to calm down a bit. After continuous usage, I also notice that my skin is becoming soft and smooth (unlike before which is rough and bumpy).

This is by FAR, the very BEST Facial Cleanser I have ever tried!!!

My Rate: 4/5 (I didn’t gave a perfect 5 because the price is mad expensive!)

Will I recommend it? Yes
